Hi, I'm a writer, editor, and journalist currently living in Manila.I worked as a reporter in Philadelphia for more than a decade, most recently as an investigative reporter at the Philadelphia Inquirer.I'm getting my MFA in creative writing at Randolph College and I've been awarded fellowships and grants from Lambda Literary and the Leeway Foundation.My journalism has won awards from the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association, the Asian American Journalists Association, the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association, and others.Back in Philly, I performed with URIOL, a Korean drumming group, and organized a Filipino potluck. I served on the board of the Asian American Journalists Association, in both local and national positions, for a decade.
